Powdercoating
Powercoating is a service which consists of preparing a metallic item and coating it with paint in the form of powder. The metal can be prepared in various ways depending on the type of metal i.e. sandblasted, acid dipped, or cleaned with a solvent. After the metal has been coated with powder it is baked in a heated oven to chemically cure the powder which makes for a very hard coating. Because no solvents are used, the unused powder can be recycled making it very enviromentally friendly.
