Metal Spray Galvanizing
A speciality service offered to give a long term corrosion and rust protection to metal products exposed to external elements. This process is used where maximum protection is required and can be sprayed on at various thicknesses.
The process occurs as a result of high temperature molten zinc and aluminium being sprayed on to a metal surface after that surface has been sand blasted and cleaned. Spray galvanizing is specifically designed for static applications where hot dip galvanizing is not a viable option. In the past we have used this process to benefit the rural sector especially with spray equipment where the machinery is immersed in water or has a steady flow of moisture and chemicals. This process has a definite advantage in prolonging the running life of irrigation and agricultural equipment.
The advantage of metal spray galvanizing is the depth of the galvanizing can be measured so in cases of extreme moist conditions the correct application can be determined to give the maximum protection.
